Engaged in Rural Education, Ambassadors introduced the world to the Children in Remote Areas

The Association of Foreign Relations (AFR), jointly with the Taichung Government, initiated the plan in rural education in Taichung remote areas. Amabassador Kuo-yu Tung and Ambassador Victor Te-sun Yu joined the plan and visisted Bo-Ai Elementary School and Bailen Elementary School from July 1st to July 3rd.

The project aimed to cultivate children's international perspective as well as their English ability. Ambassadors led the children to understand the world by introducing countries and their precious diplomatic experiences. All the children were interested by the vivid stories which the ambassadors shared. Receiving great reponses from these schools, The Global Federation of Chinese Business Women donated NT40,000 to support the plan. The Taichung Govenment and AFR decided to have more cooperation on further related projects, hoping that the group of amabassadors in AFR could exert their influence by sharing their experience to young generations.
