座談會的四位引言人分別為：匈牙利多瑙河研究所（Danube Institute）所長István Kiss、多瑙河研究所資深研究員Csaba Horváth、我前國安會副秘書長/前駐拉脫維亞代表葛光越、本會秘書長/政大外交系教授黃奎博。前駐匈牙利代表張雲屏、前駐斯洛伐克代表曾瑞利亦蒞臨發表看法；另有幾位在政大、淡大學生與會並提問。

On the morning of October 1, the Council on Foreign Relations (hereinafter referred to as the Council) and the Hungarian Trade Office co-organized a symposium on "Between Washington and Beijing: The Experience of Hungary and Taiwan", chaired by Liu Jingyan, Consul General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hungary Gergely Kádár, representative of the trade office, and Lin Yongle, president of the association/former foreign minister, delivered welcome speeches respectively.
The four presenters of the symposium are: István Kiss, Director of the Hungarian Danube Institute (Danube Institute), Csaba Horváth, senior researcher of the Danube Institute, Ge Guangyue, former deputy secretary-general of China’s National Security Council/former representative to Latvia, and Secretary of the Council Huang Kuibo, professor of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Chengdu University. Former representative to Hungary Zhang Yunping and former representative to Slovakia Zeng Ruili also came to express their opinions; several other university students from National Chengchi University and Danfoss University attended the meeting and asked questions.
The meeting touched on Hungary’s role in the EU, how Hungary strikes a balance between the United States, Mainland China and Russia, the impact of the U.S. presidential election on Hungary, and Taiwan’s security and economic strategic position between the United States and Mainland China, etc. Have an exchange of opinions.
