英國國會上議院副議長暨政府對台貿易特使Lord Faulkner 於9月22日下午至協會拜會林會長永樂及程公使祥雲。Lord Faulkner 這一次係奉派來台瞭解台英各項合作事項現況，包括再生能源及風力發電，也藉機拜會及敘舊。

Lord Faulkner, Deputy Speaker of the House of Lords of the UK Parliament and Special Envoy of the Government for Trade with Taiwan, visited the Association on the afternoon of September 22 to meet President Lin Yongle and Minister Cheng Xiang Yun. Lord Faulkner was sent to Taiwan to learn about the current status of Taiwan-British cooperation, including renewable energy and wind power, and also took the opportunity to meet and recital.
