On September 12, 2014, the Society for Foreign Relations and the Center for East Asia Policy Studies at the Brookings Institute will jointly hold an open international seminar to discuss important opportunities and challenges in cross-strait relations under the new internal, regional and global situation. Several Taiwanese, American and mainland Chinese academics and experts will attend the seminar to assess the current situation of cross-strait relations, analyze the future development of cross-strait relations, review the internal situation of mainland China and China's strategy for Taiwan, and discuss the Taiwan-US "China" relationship.
