本會名譽會長蕭前副總統萬長昨日於「2014年台美日三邊安全對話研討會」午餐演講會中，提到台灣基於現實考量，應加入跨太平洋夥伴協定（ＴＰＰ），降低對陸貿易比率，這也將使其他成員國受惠，他呼籲美、日支持。
Honorary President of the Association, former Vice President, President Mr. Wan, at the "2014 Taiwan-US-Japan Trilateral Security Dialogue Seminar" lunch speech yesterday, mentioned that Taiwan should join the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement based on realistic considerations and reduce the ratio of land-based trade, which will also benefit other member countries. He called for support from the US and Japan.
