AFR Vice Chairman Linghu appointed as Deputy Mayor of Taichung City

Congratulations on the appointment of Ambassador Bruce J. D. Linghu, Vice Chairman of the Association of Foreign Relations, as new Deputy Mayor of Taichung City Thursday, 6 December 2018.
Ambassador Linghu led a distinguished life-time career in foreign service, previously served as former R.O.C. Deputy Foreign Minister, Ambassador to Marshall Islands/Canada, Director-General of the Taipei Economic and
Cultural Office in Los Angeles and Department Chair of the North American Affairs. 
Taichung Mayor LU Shiow-yen hopes to put to good use his extensive experience and skills in the efforts of connecting the city of Taichung with the globalized world in areas such as the economy, culture, agriculture and
fishing.
