AFR to hold a seminar on “Change and Continuity in Diplomacy and Cross-Strait Relations After May 20

Given that Taiwan’s foreign relations are intertwined with its cross-Strait relations, there have been some speculations as to which direction and how the two would go and develop since President Tsai Yin-wen from the Democratic Progressive Party took office May 20 this year.
To further predict, analyze and provide suggestions for Republic of China's diplomatic prospects and future relations with the other side of the Taiwan Strait, the Association of Foreign Relations (AFR) invites scholars and experts from diverse backgrounds to share with us their different perspectives.
