Invitation H.E. Giulio Terzi and H.E. Adolfo Urso's Special Seminar on Global Security

Seminar on Global Security and the Rule of Law
 
A special seminar on global security and rule of law will be hosted by AFR on March 27, 2015 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. We are honored to present Italy's Former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Giulio Terzi, and Italy's Former Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Adolfo Urso, as our guest speakers. H. E. Terzi and H. E. Urso would like to talk about international and domestic conflicts derived from systemic violations of human rights. They will also discuss terrorism and the Islamic State (ISIS), as well as the role of the Republic of China in such a crisis. It is a truly precious opportunity as it is the very first time that Ambassador Terzi and Urso will visit Taiwan!
 
Chairman Ambassador Francisco H. L. Ou of AFR will deliver opening remarks and Dr. Ming Lee, Dean of the College of International Affairs at National Chengchi University, will host the seminar. We anticipate that Professor Dr. Chong-ko Tzou from Graduate Institute of European Studies at Tamkang University will be our moderator.
